It was so nice and interessting to spend the evening with you @ Tannlihag! We just love to talk to foreign people and exchange opinions.
It was just a lot of fun!
We looked through the fotos, you have really seen a lot of switzerland within few days!
Whenever possible we would really enjoy to meet you once and spend some time with you in the United States! Of course we will let you know whenever our plans leads us towards the Eastcoast!

The comment above is from two of my new Swiss friends, Manuel (one of our hostesses--Monica'--nephew) and his girlfriend Carla. The hottest topic of conversation on the evening they mention was the upcoming U.S. presidential election and my and Marcia's opinions of Clinton and Obama, and our possible concerns about McCain's age. We found it interesting that US politics would be so deeply in the minds of European 20-somethings. I expect it's one of the furthest things from the minds of most of their American counterparts.
